I cannot recommend Sue highly enough.
Sue was patient, kind and understanding, making a thorough exploration first of any potential issues such as claustrophobia. Once ruled out, there was a logical and step by step approach, with the horse centre stage at all times, to move slowly and surely towards the end goal.
My horse has always been a reluctant loader, average loading time at least 30 minutes. This reached an all-time low when he refused to load for 2 hours on the way out and took an hour to load on the way home, which is when I knew that he and I both needed expert advice and help.
It was tremendously insightful for me to see such expert handling, understanding and wisdom. My boy was not distressed or upset, as with each session, he moved his way up the ramp and into the box, which all took place unbelievably quickly. To say I was thrilled is an immense understatement. It felt like a huge obstacle had been removed, particularly when I took him out in the box on his own, with him loading well within a minute on the way out and on the way back. We haven't looked back since and this is all down to Sue's expertise and horsemanship.
